Jasmyne Cannick
Jasmyne Cannick has been writing and speaking publicly since 2004 and she has no plans on stopping anytime soon. She is a nationally known writer and commentator on political, race and social issues. She was selected as one of ESSENCE Magazine’s 25 Women Shaping the World, one of the Most Influential African-Americans in Los Angeles Under 40, one of Los Angeles’ Most Fascinating Angelenos by the L.A. Weekly and most recently one of 40 People Under 40 by the Advocate. She’s worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and at all levels of government helping to shape public opinion and encourage civic engagement while advocating for underrepresented and marginalized communities in the political arena.

Working with global leaders and top companies around the world such as Bank of America, Allegis Group, Johnson & Johnson and Coca Cola to name a few. In addition, Lizzy is a keynote speaker and panelist for corporate events, leadership retreats and conferences. Nicki Micheaux
Nicki is an accomplished actor, director and keynote speaker that is a passionate advocate for causes that affect women. She is an ambassador and active member of the non-profit organization Moms of Black Boys United (MOBB) and an honorary member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority.

Cheryl L. Bedford
Cheryl L. Bedford, a producer and the Executive Director and Founder of Women of Color Unite and the JTC List is using her experience and network to provide support to those who have been systematically boxed out of the film industry. She is an NAACP Image Award Nominee for “Dark Girls” and Baltimore native, holds a BFA from NYU’s TSOA and MFA in Producing from AFI. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. As a Production Manager, Line Producer, and Producer, Cheryl has worked on countless film/tv/digital projects, including over 15 Independent Features.

Marla Thomas
Marla Thomas, is a business owner, fitness coach and matriarch of a family of an entertainment family. Her biggest role right now is advocating for families with adult children affected by mental health issues. She co-founded Loving Beyond Reason a non-profit organization after her 23 year old son was diagnised with Bipolar 1/Schizzo Affective Disorder. She now provides information and assists families who make the choice to Love Beyond Reason.
